The goal of Give & Get is to take the mystery out of volunteering and to enable and encourage people to get involved in their community and the world around them.

In the ‘Open Forum’ section of this site, I summarize each volunteer opportunity I have fulfilled, and describe exactly what you can expect. My hope is that my experiences will inspire others to share their own stories, and, by taking away the unknown, encourage those who may be apprehensive about trying something new.

In the ‘Downloads & Resources’ section, you will find various flyers that you can download - for free - to use for your next coat drive, food drive, or other charitable activities. There is also a list of organizations that offer volunteer opportunities in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. This is not meant to be exhaustive, but merely to point you toward the right opportunity for you.
